ATSEC Jharkhand started functioning in 2000. Main objective is to eliminate trafficking and sexual exploitation of children and women in Jharkhand. It is providing assistance to people in distress, especially those belonging to socio-economically backward class. The situation is very grim in Jharkhand. Thousands of children are being trafficked in the name of employment and fake marriage. These children and women need to be rescued, counseled, rehabilitated, restored and repatriated.

To work with a commitment for an all-out effort to ensure all children and women will be protected from trafficking and sexual exploitation.

ATSEC Jharkhand has a vision for children and women, without exception, to be protected from trafficking and institutionalised crimes that take advantage of their vulnerability.
